What Should You Do In Case Of Loss?

In case of a loss, you can call GIG Sigorta Customer Relations Center at phone no. 444 12 44 or make a claim notice at  iletisim@gig.com.tr

You shall be required to provide following information during claim notice in order your claim to be registered

  1. Policyholder's name & surname, title,
  2. Policy No.,
  3. Loss date,
  4. Estimated loss amount
  5. Detail of the loss ( cause, cost etc ) 

Documents Required for Notice of Claim

Fire Claims:

  1. In case of fire, approved copy of Fire Department Report (if fire authority has attended) and/or approved copy of Police Station Report (if police has attended),
  2. Your statement explaining the event and including the details of your claim, 
  3. Title deed or rental agreement,
  4. Copies of purchase invoices (if any) for damaged property, 
  5. Policyholder’s bank details 
  6. Personal Data Processing Consent Form or Commercial Electronic Message Consent Form.

Theft Claims:

  1. Your statement explaining the event and including the details of your claim,
  2. Incident Scene Investigation Report,
  3. Police Station Statement Record,
  4. Title deed or rental agreement,
  5. No-Found Report by the police
  6. Policyholder's bank details
  7. Personal Data Processing Consent Form or Commercial Electronic Message Consent Form.

Internal Water Claims:

  1. Your statement explaining the event and including the details of your claim,
  2. Photos showing the damage (in cases where an expert is not assigned by the Company),
  3. Copy of the proposal and/or invoice for the repair or replacement
  4. Title deed or rental agreement,
  5. Policyholder’s bank details
  6. Personal Data Processing Consent Form or Commercial Electronic Message Consent Form.

Glass Breakage Claims:

  1. Your statement explaining the event and including the details of your claim,
  2. Title deed or rental agreement,
  3. Invoice for the replaced windows (in cases where an expert is not assigned by the Company),
  4. Photos showing the damage (in cases where an expert is not assigned by the Company),
  5. Policyholder's  bank details
  6. Personal Data Processing Consent Form or Commercial Electronic Message Consent Form. 

Please kindly note that above documents are the standard ones, considering the type and occurrence of the claim, further documents & information are required

How Does the Process After Notice of Claim Work?

We provide you your claim file number after receiving your notice of claim. Please note your claim file number since you will need it to follow up your entire procedure. 

You should submit all required documents as soon as possible to expedite the claim assessment process.
